Koh Samui

Koh samui is an island in the middle of the gulf of thailand to any district one of the surat Thani province formerly known as the source of coconut cultivation but to day development as a resort with shops hotels and entertainment the total area of koh samui is a 247 square mile area in three of the island is surrounded by mountains and plains climate is tropical monsoon with rainy season is three months from may to october from winter months from november to january as the monsoon period and summer moonths from february to april. the calm winds.

เกาะสมุย เป็นเกาะที่อยู่กลางอ่าวไทยโดยเป็นอำเภอๆหนึ่งของจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี เดิมมีชื่อเสียงในฐานะแหล่งปลูกมะพร้าว แต่ปัจจุบันได้พัฒนาเป็นสถานที่ตากอากาศที่มีร้านค้า โรงแรม และสถานบันเทิงมากมาย โดยเกาะสมุยนั้นมีเนื้อที่ทั้งหมด 247 ตารางกิโลเมตร พื้นที่ 1 ใน 3 ของเกาะเป็นที่ราบแล้วล้อมรอบด้วยภูเขาลักษณะเป็นแบบมรสุมเขตร้อน มี 3 ฤดู คือ ฤดูฝน เริ่มตั้งแต่เดือนพฤษภาคม-ตุลาคม ฤดูหนาวเริ่มเดือนพฤศจิกายน-มกราคม เป็นช่วงที่มีลมมรสุม และฤดูร้อนตั้งแต่เดือนกุมภาพันธ์-เมษายน ซึ่งคลื่นลมสงบ
